Copenhagen 4/11 20222. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Apparently a beer made in collaboration with a Soccer podcast which is reflected in the design of the can.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a huge white head. Settles as lumpy, uneven layer of fluffy foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense and a bit dampened by the foam. Gets stronger as the beer warms up and the foam subsides. Peach and apricot. Subtle citrus and grapefruit.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Probably a fine beer for enjoying your Soccer podcast.
