Copenhagen 10/7 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Fre. F. What looks like a remake of the cover for Judas Priest's Point of Entry record from 1981 on the can (basically a phallus and a setting sun).
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a zesty odor softened by a milder scent of tropical fruits. Apricot and pineapple. Grapefruit and lemon. a bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, almost creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and a bit searing.
Fine and zesty specimen from the Alefarm..
