Copenhagen 13/7 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Brownish can which looks a bit like a pine forest involved in a bizarre defragmentation on the can.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a dominant malty scent mingling with citric and searing notes. Sweet, pale malts, butter, freshly cut grass and a bit citrus,
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Decent take on a Czech Pilsner elegantly avoiding being too sweet.
