Copenhagen 8/1 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Alefarm's usual design with their white can and al little piece of artwork with soft textures in red, blue and orange.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam floating in the middel of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and roasted odor mingling with roasted coffee beans and alcohol. Sweet dark malts, brown sugar and toffee. Dark chocolate and espresso coffee. Whiff of salt water.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Potent roasted and sweet - but not without a dark chocolate bitterness.
