Pivot - Vic Secret is the second IPA in our Pivot series, a series of single hop brews. As the title implies, this Pivot it dry-hopped with pure Vic Secret.
All beers in our Pivot Series are brewed using an amped up version of our favorite base malt recipe. Each version of Pivot showcases it single hop and lets that specific varietal shine in full view without interference from other hop varietals. Copenhagen 29/6 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Purple paint stroke on a white can.
Pours opaque, hazy golden yellow with a big, fluffy white head. Settles as a thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of malts and tropical fruit. Stronger citric notes. Peach and pineapple. Citrus and grapefruit. Whiff of arm sweat.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Potent and bitter flavor but a bit on the flat side.
