Copenhagen 1/5 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of two juicy clusters of white grapes on the can.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet maltiness mingling with stronger tart, citric, vinous notes. Oranges and elder flower. Citrus and tart gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is dry.
Pretty light and refreshing for a DIPA. Vinous and tart like white wine.
