Copenhagen 27/9 2024. 37,5 cl bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Black label with Alefarms logo and the name of the beer in gold.
Pours opaque dark brown with small beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin rin of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary, malty odor mingling with a boozy scent of warming alcohol. Whiff of earthy fumes. Sweet dark malts, brown sugar and leather. Whisky and wood.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, a bit sticky and viscous, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. A bit rough. Aftertaste is bitter with a boozy sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is warming and laden with alcohol.
Fine Imperial with a solid warming touch of alcohol.
