Copenhagen 16/9 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Alefarm's usual can design with what looks like an explosion in red, orange and red.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, overripe and fermented odor of Stone fruit mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Mango and nectarine. Bruised. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable bitter undertone, Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a boozy edge.
Nice and not overly boozy DIPA.
