Taastrup 4/8 2024. 44 cl can at Birthday Party. Can in Alefarm’s usual design with a sun-lit, forest landscape.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a frothy mid-sized white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, bready yeasty odor. Sweet pale malts. Bread, banana and humid cellar. Alcohol. Whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a touch of alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweetish and boozy take on a Belgian Triple.
