Copenhagen 4/10 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark can with what looks like whirling strands of light brown smoke.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a big beige head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering much of anything. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, malty, dark odor mingling with earthy notes and alcohol. Brown sugar, vanilla, roasted malts and dark fruit. Some tobacco, coffee and leather peeking in.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, creamy, soft and a little sticky texture. Lightly tingling.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is a bit dry and boozy.
Potent and not too sweet with a nice bitter coffee touch.
