Monterey is the third beer in our Highway 1 Series, a series of west coast style brews. Dry-hopped with Vic Secret, Centennial and Citra.
With this series, we are paying tribute to the west coast style that gave us so much - and made for so many good memories. Specifically, we are brewing a pale ale, an IPA, and a DIPA as an homage to the iconic Highway 1 that stretches from Orange County to Mendocino in California.

Copenhagen 30/6 2022. 44 cl can from Craft Makers Collective webshop. Light brown can in the Highway series usual design with a stamp with a setting red sun and palms.
Pours unclear murky amber with a mid-sized, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet and boozily ferment odor of tropical fruits mingling with sharp citrus fruits. Mango and overripe peach. Hints of petroleum. Grapefruit and lemon peeking in.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet, fermented and boozy undertone. A bit searing. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Quite potent and boozy DIPA. Solid.
