Copenhagen 17/8 2019. 33 cl bottle from Auchan near Gdansk. Little chubby bottle with black label and a lot of gold. Actually calls it a Quintuple. Could explain an ABV of 12.
Pours unclear maroon with a red hue and a small off-white head. Settles as thin, flimsy patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense, dark and sweet. Fermented dark fruits. Sugary plums. Brown Sugar. Licorice, hints of Anise. Marzipan. Spicy saltiness. Prominent presence of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet. Followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Light alcoholic burn.
Very sweet, moderately boozy Heavy Weight.

Hazy dark amber color with beige head. Aroma has brown sugar and dried fruits. Taste has sweet, syrupy malt, walnut liquor and some slightly bitter earthy notes. Medium body with soft carbonation. Quite interesting flavors, a bit astringent and not too boozy.
