Copenhagen 14/10 2018. 50 cl bottle from Ninkasira Bottleshop, Kbh N. Slightly demented comic involving returning Kings and patiently waiting Queens in Chastity Belts on the label
Pours hazy, slightly dirty yellow with medium-sized head. Settles as thin patchy, layer of foam crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is roasted, sweet and a bit confused. Roasted malts, biscuit and malty sweetness. Supplemented and contrasted by citrus fruit and arm sweat.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, flat texture.
Flavor is on the sweet side of the spectrum. Medium to strongly sweet. Followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Fairly short.
Reminds me more of an Amber Ale than an American Pale Ale. Decent in that regard but nothing out of the ordinary.
