Collaboration made with the American brewery Against the Grain, the Grandma's Purple Nipple is a bold and casual creation.

A sour brewed with lavender and raspberries, this beer offers a rich nose, almost medicinal, on crushed raspberry notes. Its light acidity, balanced by lavender, and its modest degree of alcohol, make it an extremely original and refreshing flavored beer.

A: Pours a clear but almost opaque dark amber in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint honey orange colored highlights. The beer has a half finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of lavender and herbal hops with a light hint of tart raspberries + lemon citrus over hints of grainy malts.

T: Upfront there are light flavors of grainy malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lemon citrus and tart raspberries with moderate flavors of lavender + herbal hops which impart a light amount of lingering bitterness and a light lingering tartness.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of acidic prickliness.

O: Very interesting... not sure I like lavender as much as would be required to really truly enjoy this beer. Alcohol is well hidden.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down a bit but consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Strong aromas of lavender herbs are present in the nose.
T: Just like the smell, the taste has strong flavors of lavender.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has intense aromas and flavors of medicinal lavender herbs.

Enjoyed on tap in Lyon Bière Festival.
Wild ale brewed with lavender and raspberries. A lot on the lavender. Nice tartness. Very drinkable with the lavender presence. The most WTF beer I've had on the festival
