Imperial Stout eisbocked and aged in Cognac barrels.
A beauty of a beast.
Strong on the Cognac it's a real sipper which shows a masterful set craft brewing capacities.
It's balanced all along.
The IV version was quite boozy and seemed to be sweetened with sugar, this one seems to be pure malt and brewers' sweat.
Wonderful stuff, even better with a few months in the bottle.
