Chocolate Milk Stout Eisbock beer brewed exclusively for V and B stores.

Bavarian-inspired, these Eisbocks are partially frozen in order to increase their alcohol level and release their aromatic vigour. Enjoyed at room temperature, as an aperitif, as an accompaniment or even as a digestive, they also deserve a good aging in the cellar for several months, or even years for the most patient of you.

33 cl bottle, poured room temp into a pair of taster’s snifters, in Toulouse, France, on New Year’s Eve 2023.
Black mass. Darkness prevails! Perfectly headless.. you get no lace.,.
Big boomer on the nose.,rich with dark stone fruits, dates, coffee., mmm.. dry chocolate., vodka burn.,
Fortified with layers of richness., prunes, dash of soy sauce, the 2023 version is ‘only’ 21% ABV (compared to earlier versions @ +23%.,.). and is full on aggressive throughout.,.
Mouth expands and moves well. Not over hefty.,. Low gurgles of carbonation.,
Overall, the obvious comparison would be DFH World Wide Stout. It comes up short, IMO, by the alcohol burn., yeah yeah., sit on it for a year. Bet it’ll be a killer.,.
