33 cl can(s), cold, in Toulouse, France.
The pour brings a slightly hazy gold orange color with good froth.
Nose hits subdued. The tropical fruit notes are there, but don’t pop.
Taste is all about Citra hops. Grapefruit and lime, peach and passionfruit work the tastebuds. Lighter than expected. The abv is well hidden and sneaky. Supurb balance with grain making an appearance.
Mouth is medium, medium-high carbonation.
Overall, single hop IPA isn’t en vogue anymore, so it’s a welcome thing to celebrate the Citra on its own.
