Amazing beer. Had it on tap there; got a growler to bring home and share. The flavors remind me of Lost Abbey's Cuvee De Tomme or Russian River's Supplication. A wonderful, complex, SOUR cherry beer.
It's very dark, with a cloudy aspect. It smells strongly of the sour cherries that are its heart. The taste is fresh, sour, biting, with strong cherry. Mouth feel is full without being sticky or overwhelming.
I wish they bottled t so I could share it with everyone in California who loves this kind of beer!

I was not sure what to put for style here so I wanted to describe the beer a bit. It is a malty, dark beer with heavy chocolate notes, especially as the beer warms up. However, the kicker is the beer is very sour. It is definitely a love it or hate it kind of beer. I happen to love it. The dark chocolate and sour notes pair really well but if you aren't a fan of sours you won't like this.
