A - Poured a clear, golden yellow color with a good deal of carbonation. It had a small, white head with a slightly pink tint. Okay retention but no lace.
S - It smelled of raspberries and wheat. Not much else going on here.
T - Nice wheat flavor(similar to their Harvester) but with a good deal of raspberry. Sweet with a tou of tartness.
M - It was crisp and sharp. A light bodied ale with a dry finish.
D - This is an okay brew. Not a favorite but nice for the style.

Tasted on 12/20/2005. The base beer is very similar to their Harvester Wheat (see review). The differences are mainly in appearance and flavor, as the raspberry version appears to be filtered (clear pale yellow, so as not to scare the bud light fans) and in the aroma and flavor there is a strong raspberry flavor that tends to dominate the grainy Harvester profile. I suspect they use some sort of extract? I dunno, but it is a powerful flavoring, whatever they do. It's not bad, just sort of "monolithic"?! If you don't like real beer, you'll love this.
