I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a shaker pint glass.
Appearance: rich dark brown hue, nearly black, with a thick head of creamy tan foam that sticks around a good long time. Bonus points for the great head retention.
Smell: caramelly, slightly nutty malt aroma. Not super stout-ey, but it’s okay.
Taste: sweet and caramelly, with perhaps a few chocolate notes. It’s kind of bland to me, unfortunately. Not bad, per se, but not really special.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and a good creaminess (thanks, nitro!).
Overall: an okay beer, but not the greatest stout out there.

Pours an appealing Black with tight foam head that is definitely a nitro pour. Very little aroma, hint of roast and malt. Disappointing body with limited flavor, other than a non distinct dark malt flavor. Not much roast, not much chocolate. It’s just kind of there. This is definitely an underwhelming stout - it’s almost like they were trying to make a beer that wouldn’t offend anyone.

Poured dark in color with thing head. Had that nitro look to it minus the thicker heard. Smell is slight sweet and nutty. Taste has a slight roasted malt but very slight. Maybe a touch of caramel too. Feel is easy, smooth and crisp.
Some reviews are off point on this brew as it is an Irish dry stout. This brew hits almost all the notes of an Irish dry which is made for easy drinking. It's no frills. However if we're on nitro it would be really great!

When it is served nitro style, it would deserves a higher score. But, it is not always available that way, I have found.
