Our crisp hoppy IPA is a tribute to the beautiful 2Can in Chula Vista. This classic west coast IPA is heavily dry hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Cascade, Centennial, and sicoe, giving it bold the citrus, grapefruit, floral, and piney aromas that we love so much.

Pours light caramel, almost clear. Light lacing, ring head after 1 minute. Aroma is mild citrus, mild earthy/pine. Very little malt in the background. Taste is pine, mild citrus and fairly bitter, but not sharp. Nice malt taste deep down, that could be an age thing. MF is light to medium, a bit oily, with little carbonation.
Overall, I'm not sure if being 3 month's old have changed the outcome, but I wasn't getting any of that 'old hop' aroma or taste. I liked the balance between bitter and smooth.. nicely done.

September 6th, 2015 - This four-pack from Barron’s is a solid demonstration of how far Novo Brazil has come since they started. It’s bright and bitter and refreshing, sort of a far cry from the typical San Diego style IPA. No darkness, or juiciness, but more on the crisp side, while still exhibiting enough hops to tickle the taste buds.
