Enjoyed this beer at Cigar City's Hunahpu's Day 2016 in Tampa, FL. This was a rather refreshing brew as it featured a good amount of grapefruit character on top of a nice light saison body. Thumbs up!

Pours golden orange with a slight cloudiness. Grapefruit smell is more subtle than I'd like, but taste is on point. Very easy drinking. Perfect Florida Saison.

Poured as part of a sampler.
Pours a rich tan orange with minimal carbonation. Smells like saison funk, sweet malts, and grapefruit zest. Taste is toasty malt body with yeasty funk, allspice, and big grapefruit zest that lingers throughout. Feel is slick and not too heavy with light carbonation. Very well done to capture all aspects of a saison with the added grapefruit essence. Grapefruit could be scaled back just a bit, but is very welcoming and refreshing in the Florida heat.
