Silkeborg 20/7 2020. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Squares in different colors and tilted in different directions giving it a 3 dimensional vibe on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin, flimsy patches of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet heavy odor mingling with earthy smells. Brown sugar, licorice, cocoa. Leather and wet soil. Very subtle hints of smoke.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is lightly boozy.
Pretty light and not overly boozy despite a considerable ABV. Nice.

Black with a beige head. Roasted malts, liquorice, long lasting bitter, some coffee roast, creamy(oats?) chocolate and a tiny dash of smoke/peat. A standalone impie...different but really good...a bit too much carbo though imho

33cl bottle. Pitch black pour with a very tall espresso head. Roasted malts, liquorice, a bit of smoke, dark chocolate and cocoa. Medium carbonation and a chocolate bitter aftertaste.
