Pours a cloudy, deep golden amber coloration with a small, fizzy head that soon fades to nothing. Smells of biscuity, bready malt and slightly fruity and quite spicy yeast esters, with clove and black pepper standing out. Taste is a good balance of biscuity, bready malt, strong fruity/spicy yeast esters and lighter hoppy citrus notes, with notes of toffee, lime peel, green apple, gooseberry, clove and black pepper. Finishes with a light bitterness and some fruity/spicy yeast esters lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This is quite a hoppy Triple, which also has quite pronounced estery notes though, with the spices standing out particularly. While it may not exactly be a typical Triple, I'm quite enjoying the light hoppy and strong spicy notes here, with a great overall balance as well in my opinion. Somewhat of a modern interpretation of the style, I'd say, but quite well done.
