L- Colour hard to judge accurately tonight, but it appears to be medium-chestnut brown with a slight orange hue to it. Crystal clear, pours with 3mm white head.
S- There's something slightly different here, it's a hint of rich fruit together with something aromatic akin to a conifer smell.
T- Surprisingly bitter-dry on the front, especially for a Japanese beer (many JPnese 'don't do the bitter taste'), some toastiness and also a mild sweet note.
F- Rather thin, good carbonation in the mouth (as with just about every other JPnese beer).
O- There are a couple of minor facets to the flavour that are different; I'm not sure what they are (lable is in JPnese). It has a richness which in the absence of higher ABV% and clear character risks coming over as a sweet edge. In fact that sweet note builds as it warms a touch. Disappointing.
Bought from Ichibaa Japanese supermarket at Westfield, London W12. £4.75/350ml can that's mostly metallic orange and gold/yellow. BB: 03/2020

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
