350 ml can from Utsunomiya (gyosa!) on bullet train to Omiya, Japan. BB date stamp of 10-2018.
Clear deep copper colored body, not brown, with high clarity topped by a tall, creamy bone-colored head that leaves sudsy lacing.
Flavor & Aroma: The aroma seems off with some hints of vinegar. The flavor is better but overly mild; for a “brown” ale it certainly lacks medium or dark malts. Some toffee notes appear in the finish.
