Near black color but light shines through the edge. Beige head that slowly becomes film and leaves an initial ring of lace and plentiful spots thereafter.
Very mild aroma which frankly smells like an APA with lots of malt.
The taste does draw out the black patent malt. The taste is dry and crisp. There’s some hop bitterness but it comes with swallow and fades in the aftertaste to the burnt malt which lingers.
