*American Rye Stout : Anything but traditional, our American Rye Stout is a bold 6.5% abv, highlighting our love of rye with chocolate rye, rye flakes and rye malt. Chocolate, caramel and nutty flavours are complimented by floral Cascade hops and the slightly spicy rye.

I double checked to make sure this beer wasn't served on nitro. It wasn't. Jet black in color with thin head that dissipated quickly. Aroma a lite chocolate malt and a touch of rubber. Taste is moderately light chocolate and roast with no bitterness. Is there rye in this? I'd never know if it wasn't on the name. Smooth but too thin for the style. Seems to be lacking the necessary roast and bitterness so it might work better as a tropical stout.
