Shackett's Brewing Company

A small, cozy, quaint, rustic little riverside brewery. Every single thing about the place appeals to me right from the steps leading down into the establishment. A hidden treasure of the Lake Region. Met up with a fellow BA there on a slow January afternoon. Only tried the stout so far, and immediately ordered a 2nd. Very impressive first experience. I'll be back in for sure.

Nice location on the square in Bristol overlooking the river (through the windows of brewery). Take steps to basement-like location. Small but cozy. Owner is definitely into music and had ticket stubs to concerts tacked on wall. Four mainstays on tap (blonde, IPA, nut brown, stout) with several seasonal beers such as blueberry blonde, pilsner, Irish red). Nice vibe. Live music on Fridays. Some panini food options.
