The Serpent & The Worm is a European-style blond ale balancing fruity, spicy yeast character with a blend of aromatic British hops for floral, herbal and tropical fruit notes ahead of a dry and refreshing finish.

This beer is a nod to the link between Llandudno and its twin-town Wormhout in French Flanders. The name of Llandudno’s famous Great Orme headland is derived from the Old Norse word for sea serpent.

Pours a hazy yellow with fine, soapy head.

Smell is fruity and estery with notes of foam banana, citrus, cloves, pepper and grass.

Taste is crisp, fruity and estery. Notes of citrus, pepper, knäckebröd, cloves, banana and grass. Soft bitterness with some herbal and earthy hints.

Mouthfeel is medium with effervescent carbonation.

Overall, a very nice ale with plenty of depth.
