I really enjoyed this. Hoppy without being overly bitter. Hazy dark amber with creamy beige head. As pointed out earlier, really thick lacing on the glass. Aroma is pine, with some candy (toffee, caramel and fruit. Taste is mellow hops with a small amount of fruit sweetness. My idea of a good IPA.

No bottle day. Drinking out of bottle, though had to pour in styrofoam (staying in hotel, all I had) to see color and head.
L: Dark amber in color. Not sure if from styrofoam enabling the bubbles to form a very sponge like head, but its VERY frothy.
S: Grapefruity, slight pine floral notes, also a nice sweet malt, almost oatmeal rasin cookie like. 2-row and crystal malts are used. When first opened it was muted, but once poured and allowed to breath, these notes are very forward. Again styrofoam may have played in this, still kind of muted in bottle. Agitation probably plays a good part in this.
T: NEVER EVER EVER DRINK BEER FROM STYROFOAM! WORST IDEA EVER. Out of bottle, doesn't seem to bad. I don't know if I got a bad bottle but it tastes sour. Ive never had a styled sour beer, so Im not sure if thats a note meant to be there or not. Oddly it was pleasent. No malt flavor. (I actually called and takked to one of the brewers and he said its not suppose to have a sour note. Im in McCall and he offered me to come down and he would pour me one. At this point Im going to hault this review. Sounda like it should be lovely though.

Picked up at my first stop at the Home Brew Shop in Garden City... Paid $7... pretty damn expensive IMO.
Poured into slim tulip.... off white head... the brew is hazed light amber..
Aromas are sorta muted flowery and grassy hops.. caramel malts hit the hops too much IMHO... a bit of earth with warmth and some fruity esters.
Bitter up front melts into the light caramel maltiness.. the maltiness doesn't strike me as "English".. the hops are earthy and a little floral.. a fair amount of toasty malt comes in the finish as the glass warms up... some apple/pear esters.. I swear there is a bit of diacetyl which seems appropriate in an English IPA.
Body is a bit higher than medium... carbonation is a bit light IMO..
Interesting brew.. It does need more hops though.. no doubt, more hops.
