This one was not my cup of tea. Had more of a sour taste.

Had on tap at the Dayton location of Moeller Brew Barn. This was an attractive amber ale but the flavors and aromas were a nothing special. Overall, I found it well made, but not too noteworthy.

I will revist this to confirm, but this is awful, the description is not met at all. This drinks like milk. I'm struggling to find why I even have to finish the can. Idk the other beers I've had from here were totally fine if nothing else so I feel like I need to try again. Straight milk

I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured an clear amber with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle malt notes with hop highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bitter hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a pretty dark amber color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, some berries. Taste is malts, caramel, light berries, hardly any rye. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it ain't bad, but drinks more like an American Amber Ale.

I've only had this via draft . Its a nice , smooth brew with a bit of a bite . Not strong by any means . A bit of spiciness and caramel . Nice aroma . As a fan of red and amber lagers , I'm pleased with this brew . Not heavy by any means . Similar brews compare to Sam Adams winter lager, which i enjoy . To each their own i guess .

Smells sour but has raspberry and malt flavors that are different but tasty. Little light on the mouth feel but a smooth finish with burned malt after tones. A light and refreshing red.

Can, no date. 13 oz tulip.
A: pours a murky amber brown with 1/2 finger sandy head that recedes quickly into spotty islands. No lacing.
S: weird vinegary sourness. Mildly hoppy. Who knows how old this is.
T: arrives a little sour, actually. Thick, malty mouthfeel. Spicy, grainy rye takes over. Followed by a malty, dry, bitterness.
M: frothy, thick mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation.
O: a dry, spicy, rye-forward, malty ale. The first rye beer I’ve liked. Still, as ambers go, not as sweet as I’d like. Far maltier and less hoppy than a pale. Well executed for a local brewer. Very well attenuated, clean. Glad I tried it; not my style. Interested in the brewery now, though.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This decent little rye pours a medium dark
reddish brown with a fantastic head of off white foam that settles to a thick bubbled
ring, nice pooling sudsy layer, and features VERY nice sudsy sticky lacing. Nose of
subtle caramel malts, toasted malts, and lightly spicy rye notes. Flavors lightly exceed
the nose with lightly spicy rye, light caramel malts, some light breaded malt notes followed
by moderate herbal hop notes and subtle berry notes making me think of mild black berries.
Decent mouth feel; smooth, medium low carbonation, quenching, and finishing lightly dry.
Overall, a solid offering from a newer brewer. Nicely done.
Cheers
