Found a fresh sixer at the store. I had been to the location in Troy. Fun place, good beer.
Pours a warm orange color. Pretty hazy, maybe unfiltered? Thin off white head settles quickly.
Interesting aroma. Fruity, warm and sweet. Kind of citrusy.
Yum, nice tangy flavor. The grain sweetness is perfectly balanced to the hops. I like a little malt balance. Hops seem to be a more traditional c-hop flavor. Grapefruit and orange. A wonderful bitterness closes out the sip. It seems ipas these days are trending away from the bitterness.
Mouth feel full and a bit chalky for lack of a better term.
Yeah I really like this and glad I found a fresh sample of it. I'd call this maybe an old school IPA style.

I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a hints of copper with white head that left some lace. The scent had sweet citrus and honey notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright citrus and honey presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Poured into a pint glass. Purchased as a single can from Kroger for $3.
L - Burnt orange. Yeasty cream-colored two-finger head.
S - Blackberry, honey, pineapple, and yeast. Herbal hoppiness backs everything up.
T - Berries, hops, pineapple. Hints of earl grey tea leaves, rosehips, and yeast rolls. Pine ties it all together. Not too bitter throughout.
F - Nicely carbonated, with a refreshing feel to it.
O - A very nicely crafted IPA throughout. Would definitely have alongside a burger.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a pretty, burnt orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is dank, some pine and herbal notes, little of the tropical fruits found in the aroma. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.
