Appearance: brown in color with a 1/4" head.
Smell: loads of vanilla sweetness rise above the mellower roasted malt tones.
Taste: roasted malt profile is a bit thinner than expected. Add to that a slightly offputting strong vanilla extract flavor with little bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Smooth fro start to finish with a long lasting vanilla flavor.
Overall: the aroma of this beer was much better than the taste which was unbalanced towards the vanilla sweetness.
