Pours an effervescent brown with a thumb of sand colored head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: A little dark fruit, a touch of iron, a little vinegar as this warms
T: Brown sugar, dryness, figs, a touch of maple syrup sweetness up front. Figgyness, a little leafy hops, a touch of booze warmth, a kiss of pear & honey as well, just a little dark cherry as well. Finishes with boozey pear notes, a little maple candy & leafy hops
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, warming
Had higher hopes for this, needed more body
