Packed with hop aroma, this IPA will smack your face with hoppiness. A mellow malt flavor sits quietly in the background and provides 6.6% ABV, yet the hops shine through. Citrus with a slightly peppery pine hop aroma. Unfiltered and unfined, cloudy and full-flavored.
Malts: Pilsner, Pale, Cara-20
Hops: Bravo, Falconers Flight 7C, Citra, Equinox

Taster flight at Wenatchee taproom. Clear golden pour, small, thin, silky head, rings of lacing. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit peel . Taste is zesty citrus, grapefruit, light lingering dry bitterness.

For a "Citra IPA", this has a bit more malt in it than I expected, but that's a feature, not a bug. I liked the balance quite a bit. It's got good hoppy flavor, some bitterness, and then that malty character. It's a nice combination. I'd look forward to picking it up again.
Canned 12/20/21, so not super fresh, but still with plenty of flavor. The bottom of the can also says "GET VAXXED". Hey, a public health PSA with your beer!

A little over 90 days old, but still potent. Hazy pour, thick frothy head in our tulip glasses. The familiar Citra - citrus aromas come right across the table at ya. Right down the NWIPA path. Smooth taste, good balance. Enjoyable, pick up some if see it and with that bright yellow can, it's going to be hard to miss

Hazy, peachy-gold colored body; thick and sticky head, frothy and lasting. Mild scents; very light caramel and some resinous hop tones. Pretty malty backbone; caramel; solid pine resin hop presence and bitterness. Medium body; nice residual sugar presence; warm; fairly dry overall.
This is fine tasting IPA, malt-forward on most fronts with a decent hop presence.

Apparently since previous reviews they have changed the hop profile. Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, & Equinox.
Four pack of 16oz cans purchased at their taproom in Seattle, Washington.
CANNED ON 11/15/2019. Served in a pint glass.
Look- Slightly hazy golden orange color. Nice bright white head that recedes rather slowly to a thin cap of foam, moderate lacing. Light carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Sweet citrus (orange, grapefruit and lemon/lime), resinous pine, some light stone fruit and tropical fruit, bready malt, herbal/floral notes.
Taste- Much more malt forward with citrus and tropical fruit backup, slight pine in the background.
Feel- Medium bodied, dry and fairly crisp with a lingering light bitter finish. Well balanced with medium/heavy carbonation on the tongue.
O- A solid West Coast style IPA. A bit sweeter than their house IPA, but I'm not saying that's a bad thing. A little over priced at $12.50 but worth trying.

I think elrogish brought this out, but he been afraid of partying so maybe it wasn't him?
Pours the yesteryear dipa orange with 3/4" white head and kind of a concerning hazy body. Malt protein for days. Aroma wasn't all that "citra" sometimes breweries commercial tug job about. Seemed like the other hops utilized overshadowed its namesake, kind of a pet peeve of mine. Was just a mixture of that pine tree and green burn in the nose.
Taste pushed primarily a bitter, malty, caramel presence. You like grapefruit, pine bark and caramel in your ipa? Here it is. They went with a big name brand hop, but loaded it with ones you don't see as much. Gonna be a disappointing ride if someone gets into this thinking they're in for a lush Citra hopped wave of sweeter citrus notes. Has the bitter ones, but not the ones you associate with the Citra hop as much. Totally drinkable, but totally forgettable at the same time.

Golden amber color with three fingers of Manila folder-colored head and strong effervescence. Thick webbed lacing.
Clementines, some white pepper and distant herbs in the nose.
A little light citrus up front in the taste, along with a sturdy caramel malt backbone and fairly strong pine hop bitterness and pepperiness sticking through the aftertaste. There’s a medicinal herbs-and-alcohol bite in there, too.
Heavy bodied for a single IPA with an almost syrupy feel despite the strong carbonation.
Definitely on the West Coast end of the IPA spectrum, which I tend to find refreshing these days. Not necessarily the best Citra showcase, but still fun to drink.

16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured an opaque, dirty amber/orange color with over a half-inch of off-white head that had moderate retention and good lacing.
Very little malt or grain in the scent, mostly muted citrus hops. Pretty similar on the tongue, but the hops are brighter, and leave a bit of bitter, lingering aftertaste.
The body was medium, maaayybeee a touch on the fuller side than the lighter side. Drinkability was fine, my can was gone soon enough. Overall, a pleasant enough brew, worth a shot if you see it.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on August 2, 2018. Brewed with Bravo, Citra, Equinox and Falconers Flight 7C hops. Notes of citrus fruit, pine and a hint of spice.

I had this beer on-tap in a nonic at the brewery.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam with good head retention and a decent lace. I like it!
Smell: lightly citrusy hop aroma with a little bit of sweetness. not bad!
Taste: relatively grainy malt flavor with a good citrusy hop flavor. There's plenty of bitterness in the mix, rough it remains balanced. It's not perfect, but it comes together pretty well.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess for the style. Quite good!
Overall: a decent IPA. Not mind-altering, but a solid outing.

Totally beautiful beer, the golden amber liquid topped by an exuberant pile of foam in the New Belgium snifter. Sudsy on the tongue and melts in your mouth. Endless citrus aroma with a whiff of honeysuckle. Medium body.
Flavors of lime peel and mango. Malty but not too sweet, hoppy but not too bitter. Just a little grapefruit peel in the aftertaste. This is bold but balanced. This is such a nice surprise. Yet another local brewery I've never heard of making an excellent beer. From the 16 oz can purchased at Central Market.
