Collaboration Early Harvest Fresh Hop IPA

For our first fresh hop release of the season we decided to go with a more the merrier approach, so we called our friends at El Suenito Brewing and Burke Gilman Brewing to get in on the action. We all wanted to go big to kick the season off, so just one round of dry hopping with Strata, Mckenzie, and Simcoe was not gonna get the job done. We needed fresh hops; LOTS of fresh hops. We did a second round of hop additions with 350 pounds of fresh Strata that came directly from Roy Farms in Moxee, WA, and were added immediately upon arrival at Hellbent HQ. We like Strata hops in our IPAs, but we really like fresh Strata. It brings loads of strawberry, grapefruit, and a little sage for an IPA that is as fresh as it possibly can be.
