Served in an 8 oz. snifter at the brewery tap in Fox, Alaska.
Pours with almost no head at all. Aroma of alcohol and some woody notes.
Smooth on the tongue, finish is very warming from the alcohol. Good mouth feel.
A good but not spectacular barleywine. I was told that this batch had been aged on oak spirals, which would explain the woody notes I picked up.

Silver Gulch's kick-in-the-pants choice. Served in an 8oz snifter.
Deep brown with no head.
Nose is sweet, some odd citrus, and ethanol.
Taste is sour, more sour, and wild yeast. Oaky hints. Strong alcohol finish. Interesting.
Decent mouthfeel. Drinkability is limited!
