Collaboration with Altamont Beer Works.

We teamed up with our buddies at @altamontbeerworks to create Friends W/ Social Distances - a monument to our shared love of clear, bitter West Coast IPAs. We hopped this 7.2% ABV rager with genre classics Chinook and Centennial in the kettle, then dry-hopped it with new money favorites Galaxy, Cashmere, and Mosaic. The result is an ideal combo of resinous pine, grapefruit, and juicy, tropical refreshment.

A west coast fuselage of tastes that comes from two awesome breweries that tastes great and goes down better. The world is at better place collaborating with these two!

Clear yellow brew with plenty of foam in the big Stout glass. Aromatic with pine and resins. Some modest malty sweetness gives it a friendly start. Citrus peel and hints of mango in the taste, with a touch of grapefruit peel in the finish.

This is a very pleasant kind of new age IPA with the hoppy aggression of our West Coast tradition. Eventually the bitter aftertaste makes it onto center stage. No mistaking it for anything but a big IPA, but it's very drinkable. From the 16 oz can delivered by Bine & Vine from San Diego.

Fresh can from cask Flask Liquors.
Look: clear light amber, lots of carbonation. Not much head.
Smell: grass, dank, bubblegum, apricot.
Taste: stonefruit, (papaya/apricot), grass, some strange sweetness I can’t quite describe. Cantaloupe?
Feel: medium slick, dry grassy finish.
Overall: definitely west coast look. Not west coast flavor. All tropical with minimal bitterness.
