Overall this is an excellent modern IPA. Great balance of sharp bitterness and soft malty and fruity hop sweetness. Just some damn easy drinking right here. Another feather in the cap of these rising west coast hopsters

Beautiful rich golden color with what I am starting to see as the characteristic lack of head with ghost town.
Nose can't breach my stubborn sniffer
Taste has an excellent balance of rich tropical fruits and berries with a sharp piney bite that has some citrus character as well. All of this is supported by a nice mellow malt note with just a touch of honey
Mouth feel is spot on, full bodied but clean finishing.

Draught pour in shaker pint at Tank House.

Bright golden with 1 finger of white medium density head with good retention and left mixed lacing.

Nose is pleasant, but mute, dank and floral.

Taste follows the nose well with added tropical fruit dimension. Finishes with mild bitterness some juiciness.

Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, slick on the tongue and swallow.

Nice enough beer, but nothing 'wow' about it.

 

Can from cask n flask San Jose.
Undated but fresh drop from brewery.
Hops: Denali, mosaic.
L: clear golden copper, slight chill haze. fluffy head with lace.
S: stonefruit, floral, onion (dissipates as beer breathes).
T: stonefruit, Grapefruit, pineapple, grassy spicy bitter finish, hint of green onion.
F: medium, slick and juicy.
Overall: good overall. Hint of onion presumably from mosaic is not great but minor and doesn’t wreck it for me. Tropical fruits / stonefruit dominate flavor.
