The Pit is a wild ale fermented and aged in oak vessels, then conditioned in stainless steel on California yellow peaches and white nectarines. It bursts with the aroma of fruit blossom nectar, tart, juicy and concentrated flavors of peach skins, and pie filling. It finishes with the snappy minerality of old world wine.

L: Golden blonde yellow.
S: Nectarine on the nose.
T: A rather light nectarine flavor with a hint of wood and a sharp dry finish with a touch of peach. A less impressive version of Cascade Brewing's Flamblanc.
F: A light nectarine beer.
O: A simple like sour beer with nectarine flavor.

A nice lightly cloudy amber, with a semi-tart nose. Taste-wise it was tart but not overly so. The fruit flavors were very forward, which was welcome.
