“Drink Hearty, Mountain.” And unlike Anthony Quinn in the masterpiece “Requiem for a Heavyweight,” Raul currently is not. It just has this dry syrupy nature to it like eating the maple stuff in Death Valley. And who wants to do that? Slather it on Barbara Palvin in Vermont and have a few licks of it? sure. But… eh, Raul is done here.

Clear yellow brew with long-lasting foam in the pint nonic. Aromatic with resins and pine. Spicy dark taste with a dose of grapefruit in the finish. Moderate bitterness and high drinkability.
Hops are listed as Nelson and Mosaic. Looking at my ratings, I seem to have had better luck with ghost town than most Bay Area breweries. For a brewery theme, though, I'd rather celebrate life. From the 16 oz can purchased at &M Wine And Liquor in SF. Dated 12/10/2021 on the bottom.

Solid WCIPA that comes across as heavy in Nelson hops, the diesel and dank attributes.
