Picked this up during SFBW 2022, the day after the Bistro dipa festival in February. I'm writing the first review for this beer on this site 6 months later. Sociopath, no.
Pours a light copper amber color. 2/5" white head. Four different hop varieties, one experimental, but I'm pulling mostly Riwaka and Strata out of this one. Wouldn't even know what the other two taste like anyways. Guava, strawberry, weed, passion fruit. Smells nice. Ghost Town does a decent job w dry hopping.
Taste is good, drank this out on the Humboldt River at the start of spring. The Riwaka pushes the dank contingent, but its like a hybrid weed strain with the berries lightening the dank ratio. Float a little pineapple, guava around ya too. Not sure what the bittering hop is but I'd say this is around 55 ibu. Easily drinkable without excessive hop burn, acidity, booziness or bitterness.
Its pretty good stuff. Won't seek out, but would happily purchase if came across again. Its also kind of wild when the very supporters of said dystopia market it on the back end, but whatever, you do you bay area.
