Bottle pour into a glass at the taproom.
Dark brown colored body, with a reddish tint. Thin surface of bubbles quickly disappears. No lacing.
Aroma of chocolate and sour fruit (cherry).
Taste is tart, but also has sweetness from malts. Flavors of cherry, nectarine, lemon, apricot, and chocolate. All flavors fade slowly in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth, but has a dry finish. Has some tooth scraping qualities. Supportive carbonation.
The base chocolate malt does blend well with the sour bits. Lots of sour fruit flavor.

Beautiful dark pour, thin creamy head. Wonderful aroma of tart cherry. Super sour, very fruity with cherries abounding. I would have never known the underlying beer was a stout. Almost no typical stout flavors. Just a funky wild, kinda artificial cherry. A little too much of a…thing.
