Imperial Oatmeal Breakfast Stout
Beautiful 12oz draft pour into a snifter boasts a deep dark brown body and floats a thick 3/4in brown-tan head. Some lacing left behind.
Aroma, unfortunately, is cigarette ashtray. ? I don't get it.
Flavor is mild coffee and sweet malt with a light cocoa hint.
Mouthfeel is medium leaning thick with an oily/gritty finish, and cocoa powder aftertaste.
I really wanted to like it when I saw the pour, but the ashtray turned me off.

Taste: Complex, toasted, dark chocolate malts, some coffee beans maybe some maple notes, sticky finish. Big smoked malt boozy bourbon nose. Black, mostly opaque, tan head with delicate lace. Full body. Has a kick to it. 34 IBUs
