This ruby red ale is dominated by a complex malt character like my beloved Iowa Hawkeye defensive attacking a hapless Northwestern QB and supported throughout with a load of American and Australian hops as heavy as Big Ten offensive linemen sitting down to an all you can eat steak and potato dinner. The hop aroma from the use of Australian Ella hops was as unique as a place kicker executing a rugby style kick on 4th and long from our own three yard line. Full bodied and well balanced like a first team all Big Ten running back.

Roosevelt Red is a full bodied extremely well balanced beer dominated by a complex malt character with a deep hoppy flavor. Roosevelt reminded me of a balanced flavor of fresh baked bread with a great hoppy aroma.
I find it to be a very delicious drinkable beer!
