Good representation of the style although pilsners aren't my favorite. Crisp easy drinker with modicum of hops

Draft at El Bait Shop in Des Moines.
Hazy gold, streamers of carbonation, broken surface skim, lots of lace.
Aroma is mild, honey cracker and lager yeast.
Taste is a bit more grassy with a mild herbal bitterness. Light and crisp feel.
Good amount of yeast flavor, lingering mild noble hop.
Pretty good, clean and without flaws.
Whole lotta homers up in here.

One of the best pilsners I've tried. Clean, super fresh taste, very refreshing. If you are in Eastern Iowa and see this one, it is well worth a try.

I've had this at many bars through Cedar Rapids. It is a pale gold, very bright and clear, with a dense creamy white head. The flavor was rich, complex maltiness combined with a pronounced yet soft and rounded bitterness with slight spicy flavor with a bitter finish. The aftertaste was balanced between malt and hops, very clean with no fruity esters. I could tell it was fresh. Nothing worse then a stale/slight old Pilsner, this was not one of them. I have been to Czech several times and every time I drink this beer it takes me back to Prague.

I am a pilsner connoisseur and I must say this one is by far the best ive ever had. It is difficult to find a pilsner that tastes of the quality that Eastern Europe produces but TAB has absolutely succeeded. I had my doubts at first, but they were quickly washed away with this perfection of a pils.
As for the cost? No need to worry - mine are always on Gerometta.

I took a sip of the Czech Village Pilsner after an unusually hot afternoon of practice in early September. I thought the team was ready to take on Iowa State after an especially efficient week of practice. The line had good pad level and I loved the hustle the DBs displayed during one on ones. We were prepared for the Cyclones. The German Pilsner Malt and real Czech Saaz hops in this Czech-style Pilsner inspired the Blitzkrieg packages my defensive coordinator installed on Wednesday night to flummox the Cyclones. Packed with bready malt flavor and a spicy, floral hop character, this medium bodied lager is as crisp as the routes my wide receivers run.
I was refreshed and confident as the sun began to fade over Kinnick stadium with this outstanding pilsner in my hand.
