Full bodied, round and mellow beer with coffee and dark chocolate flavors. The bitterness balances out the richness.

33 cl bottle straight up, at CDG Airport, Paris.
Nose is medium roast caramel and some chocolate. A reach would be a whiff of coffee.
Taste is OK, just OK. It’s closer to a brown ale than a wee heavy. Little bit sweet.
Mouthfeel is correct for the style.
Overall, a decent refresher, but nothing to search out.

A 330ml bottle with no bottled on or best before date and poured into a wine glass.
Appearance: It poured a dark brown colour with a one finger beige head that dissipated fairly quickly but left some spotty lacing.
Aroma: Caramel, chocolate and coke.
Taste: Sweet-ish malts, roasty coffee and bittersweet chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with quite a lot of carbonation.
Overall: Seemed a bit over-carbonated, almost like drinking soda. Taste was ok but quite straight forward.
