Drank in Oak Series tasting with Post Scriptum brewery Pedro Sousa presenting.
A: Just like all other Oak Series, the body is dark copper with a white head that has some retention, knowing in the first hand that it is a barley wine and leaves some interesting lacing in the glass.
S: The aroma is fantastic. I could really stand there smelling this beer all the time. It's a junction of malt, yeast and sweetness that provide a wonderful bouquet of aromas.
T: Now this is talking. It seems that this is the extreme case for the use of malt, because here you can feel its strength coming together with multi-layers of barleywine flavors.
M: In two words, just perfect.
O: This is one of the best beers I've ever had, it's insanely great while I wasn't actually expecting to find something like this even though PS is the best brewer/brewery in Portugal. This is world class beer.
