Drank in Oak Series tasting with Post Scriptum brewery Pedro Sousa presenting.
A: The body is copper with no haziness at all, this is quite crystalline. The head is white with less retention than the Armagnac and normal lacing.
S: The smell has a really big aroma of Moscatel. While on the Armagnac beer, the Armagnac wasn't easy to find, here the Moscatel is robust. You can also find vanilla and the malt profiles.
T: The taste still has that puding caramel and some malty and yeasty profile that goes along very well.
M: Carbonation is goes higher than expected by being too active. Bitterness in the end is much more regular than the Armagnac.
O: I'm not a fan of Moscatel, at all. While this beer has a big profile of Moscatel just for the use of the barrel, the flavor is not that strong being more expressive in the aromas. It's tastes better than the Armagnac but technically it falls short of that beer.
